Credit card for Christmas?

If there was such a thing as a credit card for christmas then Aussie have come up with it.

The Aussie mastercard is now offering a 0% p.a. for the first 6 months when you sign up, basically you can spend for 6 months interest free without having to pay back a cent in interest! So spend all you want for 6 months and know that there's no interest charged, however just make sure you have enough money at the end of the 6 months to pay back what you have spent.

You may have to pay back the minimum each month (about $30) to avoid fees however you don't have to pay back anything you spent it's all interest free spending.

So if you want to go on a short holiday, buy that new TV, computer or whatever and pay back in May 2009 interest free then this is your chance! Basically you have 6 months to save to pay for something you can have now. The sooner you sign up the more months you'll have.
